My STORY

My name is Abbi-Gail. Yes, you saw right, my name is spelt with 2 Bs and it is hyphenated. So I am not like the other Abigail s you may know. Thanks to my grandma, who came up with the spelling. And I love it because it makes me unique.
I grew up with a knack for decorating. From time to time I would find myself rearranging my room as I would often times get bored with the arrangement of the room. Whether it may be changing the position of the bed or chest of drawers or even trying new paint colours.
I never went to school to study interior decorating but it was always a part of me. As I grew older I found myself watching HGTV channel a lot. I found it very intriguing how they would take a house and completely flip it in ways you would never imagine.
The internet then became my friend as I started researching more about interior decorating. This helped to broaden my knowledge, interest and made me able to share with you today.

WHY I WANT TO HELP PEOPLE

I believe everyone should have some knowledge in interior decorating to design the home of their dreams. This can be very simple with the right guidance. Not everyone can afford to hire an interior designer, but everyone would like a nicely decorated home. I would like to provide the necessary ideas and foolproof guide to help you achieve your dream home. I believe each one can teach one and help each other achieve a beautifully decorated home.

THE GOAL OF MY SITE

The purpose of the website is to provide simple yet sophisticated ideas and guides so as to assist my readers in decorating their own home. My goal is for each of my readers to learn new ideas and use them to decorate the home of their dreams.

I don't know about you, but I love curtains. The first thing I see when I enter a room is curtains. But how do you know how to choose the right one for your room? Did you know there are different types of curtains? Types of curtains Box Pleat, Pinch Pleat, Tailored Pleat Pleats in any form give a tailored and formal finish. These are great for living rooms, dining rooms or den. Box Pleat  Tailored Pleat Pinch Pleat Rod Pocket Curtains Rod pocket curtains have not been so popular these last days.
